Pediatric Heartsaver CPR / AED
What will I learn in this course:
- On-site safety
- Early warning signs of heart attack and stroke
- Checking responsiveness and breathing
- Activating EMS
- Adult, child, and infant CPR
- 1-and 2-person rescue
- Assisting choking victims
- Breathing (both mouth-to-mouth and via bag mask device)
- Basic (AED) automated external defibrillator operation and function
- Hands-on skill performance testing

This course is typically taken by childcare professionals, teachers, and baby sitters as it focuses on infant, toddlers and children.
How long does my certification last?
2 Years
You will receive an American Heart Association certification valid for two years. You will receive an email from the American Heart Association with your certificate.
